La La Anthony: A Journey of Entrepreneurship, Investment, and Self-Care

La La Anthony

From Humble Beginnings to Multifaceted Career

The remarkable La La Anthony is a name synonymous with relentless hustle. Known for her multifaceted career as a television personality, actress, and entrepreneur, her remarkable journey is characterized by relentless hustle from a young age. Her resilience was largely inspired by her early experiences, and now, she shares her insights with the world.

Discovering Passion and Building a Brand

From her humble beginnings, Anthony has understood the importance of creating wealth and the necessity of smart work. She told AfroTech in an exclusive interview, “Early on, I was determined to not be broke. I knew the feeling all too well and it’s not something I wanted to revisit. This fueled my drive and allowed me to discover my passions in music, television, and film.”

In 2022, Anthony’s entrepreneurial spirit propelled her to launch Inala, an award-winning hair care line featuring rice water designed to boost growth and nourish hair health. For Anthony, creating this brand was a “labor of love” which taught her the critical values of patience and courage.

The Art of Investment and Entrepreneurship

Anthony emphasized the crucial importance of self-belief and investment when creating a brand. “You must believe in your venture enough to put your money, effort, and everything behind it. Understanding that it often takes a while to recoup the initial investment is key, so ensure you’re financially prepared,” she shared.

Beyond leading her own brand, Anthony also ventured into investing, notably supporting LEUNE, a California-based cannabis brand. Looking ahead, Anthony plans to continue her investment journey, focusing on gaining deeper knowledge about what constitutes a good investment and identifying sustainable industries for potential investment opportunities.

Embracing Self-Care Amidst the Hustle

Despite her constant hustle, Anthony acknowledges the importance of taking breaks, partnering with Now and Later® candy to promote its “Pause Now, Hustle Later” campaign. Launched on International Self-Care Day, the campaign encourages people to take a breather from their busy schedules.

“Hustle culture, deeply ingrained in society, can sometimes overshadow the importance of self-care. This partnership reminds us that it’s okay to stop and prioritize ourselves. It promotes the concept of working smarter, not harder,” she said.

Supporting Black-Owned Businesses

In alignment with the upcoming National Black Business Month in August, Anthony curated a list of Black-owned businesses, including Buttah Skincare, Fancy Homebody, I See You Wellness, Natural Radiant Life, and Kimberly New York. Now and Later® plans to support these businesses by distributing $50,000 in donations.

The “Pause Now, Hustle Later” grant is an initiative by Now and Later® to support Black leaders and entrepreneurs positively impacting their communities. Dave Foldes, the brand’s Director of Marketing, stated, “We recognize the hustle inherent in entrepreneurship and are proud to amplify these small businesses. La La, who shares our Brooklyn-born origins and embodies our bold spirit, is the perfect partner for this initiative.”

In the end, La La Anthony’s story is one of perseverance, smart investment, entrepreneurship, and the essential balance of hustle and self-care – an inspiration for all aspiring entrepreneurs and individuals on a journey of personal and professional growth.
